What is IP Rating?
The IP rating (Ingress Protection rating) is a standard that shows how well a device is protected against two things:

2. Liquids like water (second number)
It’s usually written as IP followed by two digits (e.g., IP67).

What is Line-of-sight (LOS)?
In wireless communication, LOS means there's a clear, unobstructed path between the transmitter and the receiver
*Why LOS matters?
1. Better Signal: Signals travel stronger and faster when there's nothing (like walls, trees, or buildings) blocking the way.
2. Higher Speeds: LOS allows higher data rates and better reliability.
3. Longer Range: Especially important for point-to-point setups like between buildings or towers.

What is Wireless CCTV?
This is a solution which mainly integrated wireless technology and cameras, sometimes IoT or other digital devices.
*Anything I need to know when choosing a solution?
There are two wireless technologies: 4G and WiFi
A. 4G solution (public network) gives you almost hassle free for the site survey, but you can only use it when the area you wish to monitor is covered by telcom operator, and you need to consider the data transfer charge 24-7.
B. WiFi solution, you can choose outdoor WiFi devices to build your own WLAN (private network), connecting to any cameras, and no need to worry about the data transfer charge from telecom operator at all.
